Tom and Aletayria live in what most humans would call a tiny house with a large greenhouse attached to the back that is larger than the house itself.
The cats tell him that there is someone outside long before they make it to the porch. It is so accurate that he is opens the door just as they step on the porch. Around Tom's feet are several cats including a large orange tabby. There are 12 cats in total, several with wings, and one raccoon that Tom is still surly about.
"Come in." He smiles at them with sympathy. This isn't easy and he knows it but at least he can offer more guidance than he had in the situation. "Would you like some tea?"
